Western Tanager Pin
Western Tanagers are a common sight while hiking or camping in the west (and thus they became my favorite bird before I could spell). Their breeding ground stretches from northern Mexico up through the southern part of Alaska. This is a male tanager, easily identified by the bright red head and wing markings.
Goes with: the west, Audobon society, putting a bird on it
- Colors: matte nickel; dusty red; mustard; white. Note this pin has a matte appearance, with only a diffused sheen on the metal.
- Size: 1.25" long x 1.5mm thickness
- Sanded hardened enamel poured into cast metal, smooth to the touch
